Fashion City – Antwerp, Belgium
What is the common thing between designers Ann Demeulenmeester, Dries van Noten & Walter von Beirendonckom? They all are from Antwerp, Belgium.
Antwerp is known as a rising fashion city. Located in North-western part of Belgium, it is a city where you can find wide range of fashion and accessory shops for people with different taste.
Shopping area – Meir
The main shopping area, Meir, is a long street extending from Keyserlei (close to the central station) to the Groenplaats. It is one of the most famous shopping streets in Belgium. From there you can find high-end brand ranging from Cartier, Hermes, Prada etc, to chain stores like H&M and Zara, which has a flag shop there inclusive of a home décor session.
A lot of café and restaurants with terrace are located in this area, you can surely take plenty of rest in between shops.

Fashion Museum
The Fashion Museum was opened in 2002. It has an aim of pursuing a dynamic and changing exhibition policy, symbolizing the ever changing concept of fashion. A must see for fashion lovers.

Opening hours: Daily 10-18:oo, 10-21:00 on every first Thursday of the month. Monday close.
Admission fee: 6 EUR for Adult, 4 EUR for consession
Weekend Markets
The weekend market is located on the Theaterplein Square in front of the Stadsschouwburg theatre. The market is a very popular places for locals to get fresh produces, like cheese, fruit etc. At the same time a huge amount of household goods, second hand clothing and antiques are available there.
Best time to visit is on a Sunday morning. You need to reserve more time though as the range of stalls are really huge.
